FAIRFAX – Overhead utility relocation at the Route 28 and I-66 Interchange requires multiple 20-minute traffic stoppages of I-66 in both directions during overnight hours this weekend.

FAIRFAX - Demolition of the I-66 bridges over Route 29 South in Centreville will require reducing Route 29 under I-66 to a single lane in each direction starting at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, through 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6. Two-way traffic will run on Route 29 North during this period. 

FAIRFAX – The ramp from I-66 East to Route 28 North will close during the overnight hours Monday, Dec. 30, Friday, Jan. 3, and Saturday, Jan. 4, for guardrail repair and overhead work on new bridges. Additionally, two lanes will be closed on northbound Route 28 between Route 29 and I-66 on Friday, Jan. 3, and Saturday, Jan. 4, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

FAIRFAX - The ramp from I-66 East to the 495 Express Lanes North and South is scheduled to be closed Thursday, Dec. 26, and Friday, Dec. 27, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Drivers will be directed to use the I-495 general purpose lanes.

FAIRFAX - Demolition of the I-66 bridges over Route 29 North in Centreville will require reducing Route 29 under I-66 to a single travel lane in each direction on Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 22, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Two-way traffic will run on Route 29 South during this period.  

FAIRFAX – Ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week for utility relocations for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. 

FAIRFAX – Overhead utility relocation at the Route 28 and I-66 Interchange requires the closure of the ramp from Route 28 South to I-66 West, and the ramp from I-66 West to Route 28 South during the overnight hours of Saturday, Dec. 14, and Sunday, Dec. 15. 

FAIRFAX - Demolition of the I-66 bridges over Route 29 North in Centreville will require reducing Route 29 under I-66 to a single lane in each direction starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16. Two-way traffic will run on Route 29 South during this period.  

FAIRFAX – Ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project. Closures are needed for crews to place concrete barrier at the I-66/I-495 Interchange and for underground utility work at the I-495/Gallows Road Interchange. 

FAIRFAX - Drivers can expect overnight lane closures and periodic stoppages on I-66 near Fairfax, Centreville, and Manassas next week due to overhead gantry removal. 

FAIRFAX – Demolition of the remainder of a bridge pier near the Vienna Metrorail Station this weekend will require overnight closures of the ramp to Country Creek Road and two travel lanes on I-66 West.

FAIRFAX - The ramp from southbound Gallows Road to I-495 South is scheduled to close temporarily on Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
