FAIRFAX, Va. - Overhead gantry removal will require overnight lane closures and traffic stoppages on I-66 East and West between I-495 and Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) this Friday, February 1, and Saturday, February 2.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Temporary daytime stoppages are planned to occur daily starting Wednesday, January 30, through Friday, February 1, between 11 a.m. and noon on University Boulevard between Route 29 and I-66. Additionally, the turn lanes from Route 29 to University Boulevard will be closed for up to 15 minutes beginning at 11 a.m.

FAIRFAX, Va. - Rolling double-lane closures will take place on eastbound and westbound I-66 between Route 29 in Gainesville and I-495 between noon and 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 27. Crews will be refreshing pavement markings as part of the I-66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Additionally, the turn lanes from Route 29 to University Boulevard will be temporarily closed for 15 minutes beginning at 11 a.m.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Temporary daytime stoppages are planned daily starting Monday, January 14, through Friday, January 18, between 11 a.m. and noon on University Boulevard between Route 29 and I-66. Additionally, the turn lanes from northbound and southbound Route 29 to University Boulevard will be temporarily closed for up to 15 minutes beginning at 11 a.m.

FAIRFAX, Va. - Overnight ramp closures are scheduled for Saturday, January 5, on the ramp from southbound Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to westbound I-66 and the ramp from eastbound I-66 to northbound Route 28 (Sully Road) so that crews can repair impact attenuators.
