FAIRFAX - Temporary closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours of Tuesday, Sept. 3, on the ramp from westbound I-66 to southbound I-495 and on Thursday, Sept. 5, on the ramp from southbound Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to eastbound I-66.

FAIRFAX – The ramp from northbound Route 29 to I-66 East in Centreville will be closed for approximately one month beginning on or about Sept. 9.

FAIRFAX – New traffic changes will take effect around the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station in the coming weeks as part of the I-66 Express Lanes Outside the Beltway Project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

GAINESVILLE – The right lane of southbound University Boulevard is scheduled to be closed between Route 29 and I-66 around the clock beginning 9 a.m. Monday, August 26, through noon on Friday, August 30.

FAIRFAX – The ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West is scheduled to close nightly between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, August 18, through Friday, August 23.

FAIRFAX - Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) will be closed in both directions at I-66 nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning August 14 into the following week, so construction crews can lift bridge beams into place for the new Sudley Road collector-distributor road along westbound I-66.

FAIRFAX - Drivers traveling on I-66 West to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North toward Oakton will begin using a new, temporary exit ramp this week for approximately three months.

FAIRFAX – Overnight closures are scheduled to occur on the ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 West nightly Sunday, August 11, through Saturday, August 17. Crews will be constructing center bridge supports for the new Gallows Road overpass next to the Dunn Loring Metro Station.

FAIRFAX – Continued work installing bridge beams at Bull Run Drive in Centreville will require an extended closure and detour of I-66 East at Route 234 Business (Sudley Road) Friday night, along with lane closures and stoppages of up to 30 minutes on I-66 other nights this week.

FAIRFAX - As part of continued work installing bridge beams at Bull Run Drive in Centreville, drivers on I-66 should plan for delays in western Fairfax and eastern Prince William counties during overnight hours tonight through Saturday (August 1-3).
