FAIRFAX – The ramp from northbound and southbound Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) to I-66 East will be closed during the overnight hours Sunday, March 29, through Friday, April 3, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. Traffic will be directed to I-66 West, to Route 50 East, then stay to the left and follow signs to I-66 East.

FAIRFAX – I-66 East from Patrick Henry Drive to the exit for Glebe Road/Fairfax Drive (Exit 71) will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic stoppages of up to 20 minutes between 9:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. Friday night, March 27, and Saturday night, March 28. Closures and stoppages are needed for travel lane shifts as part of the I-66 Eastbound Widening Project.

The left lane of Route 29 North will be closed from O’Day Drive to I-66, and the left lane of Route 29 South will be closed from Trinity Parkway to I-66. The ramps to and from I-66 East and West will remain open.
