FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours next week at several I-66 Interchanges throughout the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project corridor. Closures may be rescheduled due to the forecasted snow.

Traffic on I-66 will be stopped in both directions simultaneously four times for up to 20 minutes each to accommodate the work, which is needed for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
FAIRFAX – Lane closures, ramp closures, and detours on I-66 and Route 50 in Fairfax continue nightly Tuesday, January 26, through Friday, January 29, as bridge beam installation continues at the I-66/Route 50 Interchange. Work planned for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights will close I-66 West and require detours using Route 50 West. Thursday night work will reduce I-66 to a single travel lane in each direction for about one mile with two-way traffic running in the westbound lanes of the interstate. The Route 50 Interchange is being rebuilt for the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
